1970 Chevrolet Chevelle SS 454 Tribute in Cortez Silver with Black Interior

Finished to a high level, this 1970 Chevelle is a sharp SS 454 tribute in classic Cortez Silver with black racing stripes and a black vinyl top. The stripes are painted and sealed under the clear, and the paint shows nicely throughout, with only one small imperfection low on the rocker. SS wheels with red line tires, a steel cowl induction hood with hood pins, beautiful chrome, fresh-looking bumpers and chrome door edge moldings complete the look. Tinted windows give it a stealthy appearance and can easily be removed if preferred.

Inside, the black interior features bucket seats and a center console, a factory-style 3-speed automatic, round gauges with a tach and an aftermarket stereo with upgraded speakers, including 6x9s in the package tray. The vinyl top is in excellent condition with no signs of bubbles or blisters.

Under the hood is a 454 big block built to perform. It is not the numbers matching engine, but it is clearly built to go, with long tube headers, an Edelbrock Performer intake, a four-barrel carburetor, HEI ignition, a fuel pressure regulator, a chrome timing cover and an aluminum radiator with dual fans and a shroud. Power steering and power disc brakes make it easy to enjoy, and a 12-bolt rear end and dual exhaust round out the drivetrain. An onboard air compressor with air shocks lets the new owner adjust the ride height at the push of a button.
