1969 Chevrolet Chevelle SS, Numbers Matching, in Torch Red over Parchment White

This is a genuine, real deal 1969 Chevelle SS that spent its entire life in Texas. It was a one-owner car, owned by a body shop owner who built it alongside his son. In 2016 the car was taken completely apart and carefully transformed from its original green with green interior to striking Torch Red over a Parchment White interior. The work was done so thoroughly that there's no sign it was ever green, inside or out.

What really sets this Chevelle apart is its all original steel body with no Bondo. The original quarter panels, trunk pan and floor pans are all still in place, and none of them need any repair. Inside, the Parchment White interior features a center console and bucket seats, a classic SS combination.

Power comes from a 454 big block backed by the factory 400 Turbo automatic transmission and a 12-bolt rear end with 3.73 gears. It stops with front disc brakes and rear drums and rides on all new wheels and tires. The car left the factory with a 396, and the numbers matching original 396 motor, heads and intake come with the car at no extra charge. The original motor does have a burnt piston, so it's ready for a rebuild.

The car was acquired a year ago from its 83-year-old owner. After losing his wife in 2020 he had no more interest in driving it, and now this Chevelle is ready for a new owner to enjoy.
