Dealer Comments

Presenting a stunning 1967 Chevrolet Camaro Pro Touring build, a first-generation Camaro that has been fully restored and thoughtfully modernized, with fewer than 500 miles on the fresh build. Dressed in Super Sport style with SS 350 badging, this Camaro is presented as an SS tribute and blends timeless 1967 lines with the performance, handling and braking of a modern machine.

The custom metallic blue paint is simply breathtaking. Its depth goes well beyond the usual mirror shine, and the finish glows in the sunlight, with the metallic blue carrying through to the interior for a cohesive, show-quality look. Body gaps and panel fitment are excellent, the car wears all new glass, and every piece of weatherstripping and rubber has been replaced. A Super Sport smokestack-style hood, an SS fuel filler cap and polished US Mags wheels on BFGoodrich tires in matching sizes at all four corners complete a stance that is aggressive yet tasteful.

Under the hood, nearly everything has been touched, renewed or replaced. The 350 V8 is topped by an Edelbrock carburetor and polished intake, with shorty headers, HEI electronic ignition, a serpentine belt drive, chrome one-wire alternator, chrome fuel pump and polished water pump. Cooling is handled by an aluminum radiator with dual electric fans. Power flows through a 4 speed manual transmission to a Ford 9 inch rear end, and the chassis has been upgraded with tubular front suspension, a four-link rear suspension, adjustable shocks and four-wheel Wilwood disc brakes.

Inside, the interior has been renewed with fresh seats, door panels and carpet, along with a console gauge pack and a classic floor shifter. The radio delete leaves the choice of audio to the next owner. The dash tachometer is not currently functioning. On the road, this Camaro pulls hard, sounds fantastic, and tracks straight and true, delivering the kind of confident, enjoyable drive that defines a well-executed Pro Touring car.

Everyone gravitates toward the 1968 and 1969 Camaros, but it is hard to imagine a first-generation Camaro better than this one. It is ready to be driven, shown and enjoyed.
